Doctor on Wheels is a community-focused mobile healthcare initiative started on 16th September 2019 with the clear objective of making quality healthcare accessible at people’s doorsteps. The initiative was conceived to address gaps in healthcare delivery faced by elderly individuals, persons with limited mobility, underserved populations, and communities with restricted access to hospitals.
By combining medical expertise with mobility, Doctor on Wheels brings structured primary healthcare services beyond conventional hospital settings. Our mobile medical units function as an extension of hospital care, delivering consultations, preventive services, basic diagnostics, chronic disease monitoring, geriatric care, and health education directly to the community.
All services are delivered under the supervision of qualified doctors and trained staff nurses, following established clinical protocols and ethical standards. In situations requiring advanced intervention or emergency management, patients are promptly stabilized and referred to appropriate healthcare facilities.
Doctor on Wheels is committed to continuity of care, patient dignity, and responsible healthcare delivery. The initiative reflects a belief that healthcare is not a privilege, but a necessity that must reach every doorstep.
